Before:
A homeowner in Wausau, WI, noticed that water was seeping along the basement floor after heavy rain, leaving damp spots and musty odors near the walls. Although the problem wasn’t yet severe, the consistent moisture made the space uncomfortable and unsuitable for storage. The homeowner wanted a permanent, reliable system to collect and remove any incoming water before it could cause damage.

After:
Sure-Dry installed a WaterGuard® Interior Drainage System along the perimeter of the basement to capture groundwater and direct it to a newly installed SuperSump® system. The SuperSump efficiently pumps collected water out of the home, protecting the foundation and keeping the basement consistently dry.
This complete waterproofing system now provides the homeowner with year-round protection against seepage, creating a clean, dry, and usable basement space.

Before: A homeowner in Wausau, WI contacted Sure-Dry after noticing the concrete back patio and steps had become uneven and settled over time. The shifting concrete created tripping hazards around the patio area and caused water to collect near the steps during heavy rain and snowmelt. Like many homes throughout Marathon County and Central Wisconsin, repeated freeze-thaw cycles and changing soil conditions beneath the slabs had caused the concrete to sink and separate. The homeowner was searching for a concrete lifting company and concrete leveling contractor that could restore the patio and steps without the expense and disruption of replacement.
Traditional mudjacking, also referred to as slab jacking, can place additional weight on already unstable soils and often requires larger drill holes throughout the slab surface. The homeowner wanted a long-lasting concrete step repair solution that would improve safety, drainage, and usability throughout the outdoor living space.

After: Sure-Dry inspected the back patio and steps and identified several settlement areas beneath the affected concrete slabs. To restore the surfaces, the crew installed PolyLevel High-Density Concrete Lifting Foam beneath the settled sections to carefully lift and level the concrete back into position. Unlike traditional mudjacking methods, PolyLevel High-Density Concrete Lifting Foam is lightweight, cures quickly, and helps reduce additional stress on weakened soils beneath the slab. Once the lifting process was completed, the joints and cracks were sealed using NexusPro Concrete Joint Sealant to help prevent future water intrusion and soil washout beneath the patio and steps.
The completed repair restored a safer and more stable outdoor surface while helping protect the concrete against continued settlement common throughout Wausau and Central Wisconsin.
