This home in Random Lake, WI had several issues in their basement.  Foundation settlement along with outside pressure from the soil and water were causing the walls to buckle and bow inward and they were at serious risk of collapse.  

On top of that, water was seeping into the basement through the walls and there was no system in place to collect the water and drain it to the sump pump.  

Solution

To fix the failing foundation walls, Sure-Dry Basement Systems installed their PowerBrace™ Foundation Wall Repair System.  The PowerBrace™ is a patented foundation wall repair system that's designed to stabilize failing basement walls and provide the potential to straighten walls over time.  These steel I-beams will stabilize the wall in its current position without any further adjustment. Over time, the PowerBrace™ System can be tightened to make bowing or tilting walls straighter and more vertical.

To collect and drain the water coming into the basement through the walls, Sure-Dry installed their DryTrak® system.  DryTrak® provides the same protection and drainage for water seeping through foundation walls, while also giving the clean, finished appearance of a baseboard. The drain is secured to the floor with only a slight opening at the top, allowing water to flow in and drain to your sump pump.
