Sunken & Cracked Basement Floor Repaired in Land O' Lakes, WI

Challenge

Like his father, Roger Jr. had been coming to Palmer Lake since he was a little boy and he's always dreamed of having his own place on the lake. This year that dream came true, and he was able to purchase a home four doors down from his dad's place. When purchasing the home, they knew they would need to remodel the basement for more space and his dad told him to call Jeff at Sure-Dry, whom he had worked with in the past.

During the inspection, they showed Jeff the area in the basement where the floor had cracked and sunk, and it was confirmed that the floor had dropped 2 1/2". Jeff explained what caused this to happen and assured them that we would be able to fix it.

Solution

PolyLevel Injection Foam was utilized to permanently raise the floor back up so everything was level and at the same height, and then NexusPro Joint Sealant was utilized to seal the cracks and joints. The homeowner was thrilled with the results and happy that the floor was now stable and he would be able to move forward finishing the basement.
