The goal was clear - these homeowners are trying to sell. The problem was also clear – in their basement, all four block walls were cracked, bowing, and moving inward. They needed a trustworthy contractor with a warrantied solution to have any chance of selling their home nestled on a lovely country hillside.
I came in and gave an inspection and careful measurements of the walls, which revealed inward wall deflection ranging from 1-2 inches. Even the four-foot high egress stair entrance block was failing.
We have three different ways to permanently stabilize a wall, and their home needed two of them.
