Basement Flooding Resolved in Lake Tomahawk, WI

Challenge

During a recent meeting with the owners of a cabin, I was informed about their recurring issue of water leakage in the basement. They shared that this has been a problem for over four decades, and they were planning to address it during their upcoming renovation project. I was called in to conduct an inspection and assess the areas of concern where water may be seeping through. 

After a thorough inspection, I identified various areas where water was seeping in at the cold joint in the basement, indicating the absence of drain tile. To address this issue, I recommended a water control system that would provide them with a long-term solution and peace of mind. This system would enable them to move forward with their renovation project without any further concerns regarding water seeping into their basement.

Solution

We installed our WaterGuard Water Drainage System along with a TripleSafe Sump Pump to collect any water and pump it safely back outside, along with a Sedona Dehumidifier to improve the air quality and keep their home comfortable.

The homeowners are very pleased with the end results and happy they won't have to worry about any water problems after the basement is finished.
