Challenge

This home in Edgar, WI had water getting into the basement through the basement walls.  Hydrostatic pressure from the wet soil around the foundation was causing small cracks in the walls, and as water finds the path the least resistence, the water found its way into the cracks and into the basement.  

Solution

To trap the water coming in through the basement walls, Sure-Dry Basement Systems installed their BrightWall® Basement Wall Panel system.  BrightWall® is 100% waterproof and washable, and it creates a vapor barrier on your basement walls to block out water vapor and humidity. This ensures that you won't have to worry about mold growth or rot. Like our other wall products, it can direct water seepage into your perimeter drain.

To catch and drain the water being trapped by the BrightWall® Basement Wall Panel system, Sure-Dry installed their WaterGuard® system.  The WaterGuard® system collects water that seeps through basement walls and drains it to your sump pump.
