Challenge

The basement of this old home in Deerbrook, WI had major water issues.  Water was finding its way into the basement between the foundation walls and footing, and was also coming through the floor itself due to the hydrostatic pressure around the home's foundation.  With no system in place to collect the water coming in, and with no sump pump to drain and discharge the water away from the home, the water was pooling on the basement floor, causing damage to the items the homeowners had stored in the basement.  

Solution

To collect the water coming into the basement from between the footing and foundation walls, Sure-Dry installed their WaterGuard® system.  The WaterGuard® system collects water that seeps through basement walls and drains it to your sump pump. The system installs quickly and has a clean finished appearance, meaning you don't have to worry about having an unsightly drain around the basement.  Bleeder lines were also installed throughout the basement floor to collect the water coming in through the concrete floor.  

To discharge the water being collected by the WaterGuard system and bleeder lines, Sure-Dry installed their SuperSump® Premier Pump System.   It is engineered to help keep the basement dry and healthy for extended periods of time, even in times of heavy water intrusion.
