Church in New London, WI Needed Some WaterProofing

Challenge

The call to inspect the church came in the dead of winter when there was no water in the fellowship hall and kitchen areas. The volunteer project coordinator shared stories of years of water seepage, slippery floors, and not being able to use the downstairs gathering area for church events due to the water damage. In an attempt to dam the water, bricks had been glued to the perimeter floor which didn't help.

Solution

Our crew at Sure-Dry put together a permanently dry solution and over the course of the next six months, I met with the coordinator and committees to work out production details and schedule coordination.

Our production crew spent four days installing Dry Trak and Water Guard around the perimeter of the church basement, passing through block walls and under opened stairwells. The kitchen received our Bright Wall Panel system to prevent wall seepage while Clean Space Wall vapor barrier was used to protect the walls under the stairs. These perimeter water control solutions were connected to two Super Sumps in Triple Safe crocks.

This church is now able to enjoy their classes and events free from water hazards.
