Photo Album: Properly Insulating a Crawlspace in Sister Bay, WI

Homeowners in Sister Bay, WI called to have their crawlspace fully and properly insulated. To accomplish this, we fully encapsulated their crawlspace in our waterproof liner, CleanSpace, which blocks out all water. We then installed the Turtl, which blocks the entrance to the crawlspace from the outdoors. It is fully waterproof and has a secure lock system on as well.

The crawlspace had been poorly insulated previously and the insulating that had been done, provided no help.

The crew then encapsulated the crawlspace with CleanSpace. This wall system is a thick, waterproof barrier that will keep water out.

The door leading to their crawlspace came from outdoors and was very unsafe because it was not properly locked. It also was not waterproof and let in a great deal of water especially during a heavy rainstorm.

We installed the Turtl, which is made of 100% waterproof material to keep their crawlspace dry. The Turtl also has a very secure lock system attached to it

When there's an enclosed space, humidity and vapors will collect in the air. Our Aprilaire dehumdifier system does a great job eliminating any possibility of moisture.
