Photo Album: Supporting Basement Walls in Kaukauna, WI

This older home's basement walls have begun to give out due to the pressure of the Earth on the walls. To resolve this conflict, our crew installed GeoLocks in the basement where we could use the outside soil to pull the wall back to its original location, so no further damage occurs. However, areas where there isn't room to install GeoLocks, possibly because there isn't a wide enough lot line outside of the home, we used Carbon Armor instead. This is an affordable solution for walls that have shown a slight bend in their form. Carbon Armor will hold the wall in place canceling out any future damage. In fact, it is thin enough that a light wall panel can be placed over it to hide its look.  Brightwall is exactly what we installed for these homeowners. BrightWall gives the basement a brighter, cleaner look but it also hides the Carbon Armor beneath. This leaves a clean, appropriate look for their basement.
