Basement Water and Mold Issues Resolved in Denmark, WI

Challenge

These homeowners had identified the presence of mold underneath their current flooring, which they then replaced with a cheaper alternative. Unfortunately, within a year, the mold reappeared leading them to believe that the underlying issue of water intrusion had not been resolved. They were keen to address the root cause of the problem to avoid further mold growth and damage. They intend to convert the space into a usable movie or game room after refinishing it.

Solution

The property had experienced a water intrusion issue due to a blocked drain tile and downspouts on the exterior, which were directing water toward the foundation wall. As a result, mold growth was found underneath the flooring. The situation was resolved by implementing a SuperSump Pump to regulate the excess water flow and a WaterGuard Drainage System to effectively filter the water away from the property. The homeowners were thrilled that their water and mold issues have been taken care of and they are able to enjoy their home.
