Egress Windows Installed & Walls Stabilized in Kronenwetter, WI

Challenge

These homeowners had lived in the same home for almost 20 years and were looking to complete a few updates in their basement to help with its function and safety. They knew that the basement walls had moved a little which really concerned them, so they wanted to see about getting those issues fixed so their home was stabilized, and they also were interested in having an egress window installed to provide an emergency exit and more light for their dark basement.

Solution

After inspection, Sure-Dry confirmed that one of the walls was indeed tilting inwards. To fix this, the PowerBrace Foundation Wall Repair System was installed to not only stabilize the walls, and prevent any further movement, but to also move the wall back to where it should be. After that, two egress windows were installed next to each other which will provide more natural light while also providing an emergency exit for their basement. The homeowners were thrilled with the results.
