Water & Breathing Issues Eliminated in Rhinelander, WI

Challenge

This homeowner had lived in her home for over 40 years. Every spring she has had water in the basement and her existing sump would be able to manage the problem most years. Although this year was different, when the spring thaw came, her basement flooded with more than two feet of water because her sump pump failed. This caused major damage to the boiler, water heater, and water softener resulting in all three having to be replaced.

Solution

The homeowner called Sure-Dry to fix the issue. Our Design Specialist was able to work around their schedules and meet with them on a Sunday afternoon. After completing the inspection, he was able to come up with a permanent solution that would provide the peace of mind needed to continue living in her home.

Sure-Dry installed our WaterGuard Drainage System, CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier, and TripleSafe Sump Pump System to collect and dispose of any water entering the basement. Finally, we installed the Sedona Dehumidifier and Aspen Air Purifier to help with the homeowner's breathing because she was struggling with air purification. The result was not only a clean, dry, and healthy basement but a safe, worry-free home.
