Challenge

Roy's home in Krakow, WI was experiencing water coming into the basement after heavy rains. It was determined that one of the reasons for this water coming in was that the concrete slab in front of the back door of the garage was sunken and pictched toward the home. Because of this, Roy was not only in need of a system that protected his basement from water, but he also needed that concrete slab raised and leveled.

Solution

To protect Roy's basement from future water finding its way inside, Sure-Dry Basement Systems installed their WaterGuard interior water drainage system. WaterGuard takes the traditional interior drainage system concept to the next level by using a wall flange that allows seepage to enter the drain and collects water off the walls to easily funnel it away from the foundation. Sure-Dry's WaterGuard system also prevents debris from entering the drainage area and provides a clean finished appearance on your floor.

To fix Roy's sunken concrete slab, Sure-Dry Basement Systems used their patented PolyLevel® Injection Foam system. PolyLevel® is an expanding polyurethane foam that is injected beneath the concrete to fill the gaps caused by soil erosion and raise and stabilize the concrete surface.
