Water Control and Dehumidification in Bonduel, WI
Challenge
Marlene W. of Bonduel, WI was experiencing water seeping into her unfinished basement. The water appeared to be getting in between her home's foundation footing and block walls, potentially damaging items she was storing in her basement.
Worried that her basement was in danger of flooding and further damage to items she was storing, Marlene needed a system in place to catch the water coming in and drain it to the sump pump and discharge it away from the home. Marlene also wanted a solution to eliminate the moisture in the air along with the musty smell caused by the water coming in.
Solution
Our installation team installed a combination of our Waterguard and Dry Trak water drainage systems along the perimeter of Marlene's basement walls to capture the water that was coming in. By doing this, Marlene was able to have piece of mind knowing that any future water getting in between the foundation's footing and walls would be captured by the drainage system and directed to the sump pump, and she would never have to worry again about water in her basement.
By installing a dehumidifier in Marlene's basement, we were able to eliminate the moisture in the air of her basement, along with eliminating the musty smell in the air and cleaning the air as well!
