Water Control & Air Quality Issues Repaired in Manitowoc, WI

During a pest control visit in March, the Orkin technician had noticed that there was water damage on the wood panels and vinyl tiles in her basement. After removing the panels, they discovered visible water damage and cracking between the cinder blocks. Sheri wanted to take care of this issue to make sure her home was a safe, healthy, and comfortable environment, and so called Sure-Dry for an inspection. It was determined that there was damage to the drain tile around the home and was resulting in long-term foundation and water damage. If the water around a home is not being properly managed, it will cause extreme lateral pressure on the wall, making it more vulnerable to water penetration. Eventually, the water will find the weakest point and make its way inside, causing further damage.
Solution
To fix the water issues in the home, a full-perimeter WaterGuard Drainage System was installed to collect the water that was coming in, and then a CleanSpace Wall Vapor System was installed to collect any water entering through the walls, and prevent it from damaging the new drywall that would be installed. A SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System was then installed to collect all of the water, and pump it back out of the basement. Geolock Wall Anchors were then installed to secure the walls, prevent them from moving further and allow them to be straightened over time, a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was installed to control humidity levels in the basement, and an Aspen Air Purifier was installed on the first floor to ensure the best quality air in the house. The homeowner was thrilled with the results and is very happy that her foundation, water, and air quality issues have been fixed permanently!
